SVC International Communication Day this year is really SVC International Family Day. Three of my six Descendants were born on March 10th. One year ago, my third Grandchild, Patrice, was born in Canada. Her Mother, Alicia, is my eldest and she took a serious chance having a baby at age 42, but she has the little girl she always wanted, and I couldn’t be happier for her!
During Alicia’s 43rd Birthday Commemoration 10 weeks later on SVC International Children’s Day, May 19th, I held the new baby throughout my Presentation. Patrice stole the show! I thought it was sweet my Identical Twin Grandsons, Michael and Phillip, who are 11 years old and were born 15 August 2014, fought with me to hold their baby Sister. I told them they lived with Patrice and they could hold her anytime they wanted to, but I only had that day to hold her.
Their Aunt Marti and Uncle Jack were born 19 years ago today, these titles they have held since they were seven years old. There is a 25-year gap between Alicia and her younger Sister and Brother, a situation created by my losing Alicia’s Mother over 40 years ago and the interim period of 17 years I was a widower.
When Marti and Jack were born, it was like becoming a father again. There was no difference between the joy I experienced at Alicia’s birth at age 22 and Marti’s and Jack’s births at age 47! The most important aspect, though, is that I raised Angelica’s and my Fraternal Twins and I only raised Alicia until she was 3½.
Marti is now in Medical School and Jack is in Graduate School pursuing a master’s degree in Architectural Engineering & Sustainability. Both Marti and Jack have received an additional year of eligibility to play basketball and baseball, respectively, by the NCAA.
Eventually, Marti will be the first student athlete to ever complete Medical School in her time of playing eligibility and Jack will be the first to receive his Doctorate during the same time frame! We are so proud of them!
My Family has unequivocally become my priority, and I will do whatever it takes to end the siege for us and have “a normal Family Life” from now on, something we have never enjoyed. The focus on my Family that I will be taking is based upon the promises the Creator has made to me!
The Creator has placed in motion what will ultimately bring the world to a Peaceful Conclusion because of my efforts and our sacrifices in the past quarter century. Throughout, I have always stated in my prayers when hardships existed that I looked forward to witnessing how the Creator would work things out. I live in high anticipation about how the Creator will make it all so!!!!!!!
When I wrote my Article, MONTANA’S TOPSY TURVY POLITICS Saturday, I sensed U.S. Senator Steve Daines (R-MT) also felt that the needs of his family outweighed his ambitions to remain a senator. In his explanation video to his Montana Constituents, he mentioned he wanted to spend time with his seven grandchildren. Another senator who did the same was David Boren. David resigned the last two years of his third term to become President of the University of Oklahoma in 1994. David would be the one who would invite me to pursue my doctorate and offer me a unique scholarship program. In exchange for my advance for publishing REVIVAL OF THE AMERICAN DREAM through the University of Oklahoma Press, my tuition would be paid. I jumped at the chance!
But not only did David and OU make this wonderful offer, they took a special interest in my little project. David served on my Dissertation Committee Chair, unusual for University Presidents, and invited former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Carl Albert, to serve. OU Press would create a University Press Consortium for the University Book Tour. This brilliance will be recreated this fall when YOU MUST REMAIN THE TRAILBLAZER is published.
No one could have foreseen that on the morning of 9/11 David would have breakfast with CIA Director George Tenet and give him my book manuscript with the line, “The United States will make no distinction between those who commit terrorist acts and those who harbor them.” President George W. Bush would make this line one of the most memorable lines ever spoken by an American President that night. It shaped my future in ways only the Creator could have planned.
At this time the past two years, I wrote and spoke about the Fear of Belonging to Your Dreams. It has been one of the most meaningful and popular writings I have done in the past 26 years at SVC. This the 2026 version:
Anyone who has been involved with competitive basketball in high school or college knows full well that by the end of February and/or beginning of March you are talking, "It's Tournament Time". It is time most players and their teammates see an opportunity to redeem themselves in a big way because the regular season hasn’t gone as planned or if the year has come off well, a chance to prove it all hasn't been a fluke.
I have never talked with a basketball player that didn't feel that way and if you are seeking redemption in playing a sport, basketball is your best choice. It's the underdog's sport and that is why March Madness is so popular year after year. It is rather disappointing if a 10th seed doesn't make it to the Final Four. My own high school experience with it is incredible.
The 1974-75 Academic Year in the United States was when Title IX first took effect, so Bozeman (Montana) Senior High School fielded its first Girls Basketball team. It was also my freshman year in high school, and I played for the Bozeman Junior High School Warriors.
At the time in Montana, it was technically illegal for us to practice on Sunday or play with the Girls. We did both. Our Coaches wanted us to play as much basketball as humanly possible so our skills would sharpen.
The Warriors hosted an Invitational Tournament at the end of the season. In the Championship Game, I experienced probably my best moment as a player. Coach John Marks called my number, and I sunk the tying basket with four seconds left. We went on to defeat archrival Butte in overtime averting what would have been a very embarrassing loss.
To demonstrate what I was talking about earlier concerning basketball being the underdog's sport, that same "Tournament Time" in 1975, the University of Montana Grizzlies nearly beat John Wooden's last team at UCLA (64-67) in a "Sweet 16" game in Portland. The Bruins defeated the Kentucky Wildcats for Coach Wooden's 10th National Championship 92-85 11 days later.
Jud Heathcote would move onto Michigan State University in 1976 and there he would discover a local product named Earvin "Magic" Johnson. They would win the 1979 National Championship game against Larry Bird and Indiana State, 75-64. The game had the highest Nielsen TV ratings of any game in the history of American basketball.
Magic is 13 days older than I am, both of us were born in August 1959; we both played point guard; and I am an avid Lakers fan. Always have been.
The 1975-76 season was a disaster. I did not play on the varsity and I am almost glad. They started 4-0; then went 0-16. The Class of 1976 had some good players, but they did not play well together, thus the 4-16 record.
The 1976-77 team was a definite improvement. The regular season was just 9-8, but we found redemption in the Western Conference Tournament and made the State Tournament for the first time in 10 years. We lost the opening round game at the Montana State University Fieldhouse against Kalispell.
The loser out game was against Libby. We fell behind by 25 points just before halftime, an almost insurmountable lead. However, just like two years before with the Warriors, the mighty Hawks came back and forced the game into overtime. And yes, we won the game going away at the end.
What was particularly memorable was how Head Coach Joe McKethen reacted to the stunning comeback. It was the one and only time we saw Joe McKethen cry. He was so grateful for the effort expended and somehow, he knew his coaching career had been extended for the State Championships that were to follow.
We won the Saturday morning loser out contest against Anaconda to qualify for the State Tournament. That night we watched Blaine Taylor of Missoula Hellgate sink two last second free throws in the Consolation game to defeat us.
Five years later, Blaine was a Grizzly and he did the same to the University of Idaho Vandals. That would be the only regular season loss for Idaho, and they had been ranked as high as #8 in the country during the 1981-1982 season. The Grizzlies, however, would lose to Idaho in the Big Sky Conference title game and only Idaho played in NCAA Tournament. Had Montana won that game, it would have received the automatic bid, and Idaho would have received an at-large bid. It is the only time in the 63-year history of the BSC that two Men's or Women's teams could have qualified for March Madness in the same season.
For Bozeman, the '77 campaign would go down with a thud at the Billings Metra. It was one-two you're out. That would be the last time that the people in Bozeman would view a trip to the State Tournament as a very successful season. Beginning in 1978 and ever since that would simply not be good enough.
When basketball resumed in early October, Coach McKethen had a special speech prepared. He proclaimed that our 1977-1978 team could in fact win a State Basketball Championship for the first time in 60 years. Not since the Gallatin County Wildcats won back-to-back State Championships in 1917 and 1918 had the high school in Bozeman won a State Basketball Championship. Future actor Gary Cooper would graduate from GCHS in 1919.
As Sports Editor for the school newspaper, "Hawk Tawk" and reporting on basketball, I wrote the article that let the world know what his intentions were and that it sounded like something out of the movie "Rocky".
The season started just as the last one ended with a loss in Billings to Billings West. Then the Hawks began to look like a winner. Our next loss would be to - you guessed it - Butte, five weeks afterwards in overtime. Assistant Coach and future BSC Commissioner, Doug Fullerton, once asked me how many times my class played Butte in overtime and the answer was seven. Butte never did beat Bozeman on its home court without an overtime period; the previously discussed game in 1975; and in the two semi-final games in the Western Conference and State Tournaments in 1978.
Every basketball team has an off night and ours came against Helena Capital the week after. That's why it is a shame that most tournaments are single elimination as far as the championship is concerned. We shot less than 30%. It was just miserable.
But the loss that mattered was the one the first weekend in February 1978. The Hawks lost a close game to Missoula Sentinel on their floor after trouncing them in Bozeman right before Christmas. Sentinel had been rated #1 in Class AA all season despite that lone loss to Bozeman. The Hawks were never rated higher than #4 the entire season. It really bugged Coach McKethen.
I have vivid memories of my Interview as Hawk Tawk Sports Editor of the Coach after this loss. When Coach McKethen got off the phone, he said, “Phil, that will never happen again.” Even as a “hotshot Senior,” I was taken aback by the statement. When an authority figure in your life says something like this, your first reaction is oh ____! Right?
Then the Coach explained that the Bozeman Hawks would not lose another basketball game that season. He explained how he was going to accomplish it, how he was going to achieve his dream and gave me the reason why he had returned to Bozeman seven years before. Coach McKethen had played his college ball at Montana State University and is a Golden Bobcat.
The Hawks ran the table and won their last five games of the regular season, then marched through the Western AA Conference Tournament and State Tournament with only a close overtime game against Butte. The Hawks dominated Sentinel in the State Championship game, 58-53, in the shadow of the school's namesake mountain at Harry Adams Fieldhouse in Missoula. It was never a contest.
It wasn't just that. As Athletic Director Joe McKethen decided he wanted to turn a sports laughingstock into a sports dynasty. Before 1978, the athletes from Bozeman doubted they could win. After 1978, they knew they would win. Huge difference in the mindset. All because one man decided “that will never happen again.”
Bozeman now wins a State Basketball Championship about every four or five years on average, not every 60. Bozeman Gallatin Girls Basketball team won the State AA Title last March, about five days after the previous edition of this article was published. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLEODbcqe1o
The Raptors are considered the team to beat in this year's State Tournament. If the Ladies win the 2025-2026 State Championship they will repeat the feat by the Hawks Boys team after the 1978-79 season. The '79 Hawk Boys team is one of the best high school teams ever to play in Montana. Joe McKethen did succeed in starting a Bozeman Sports Dynasty that continues 48 years later!
In “Think & Grow Rich”, Napoleon Hill spends an entire chapter (#8) on this incredible Power of Decision. Not by mistake, the chapter is almost entirely about how the Power of Decision led to the creation of the United States of America.
You can see why I pay such close attention to the Power of Decision, and the lesson Coach McKethen taught me nearly a half century ago. My own personal experiences and revelations about life are so intertwined with that one moment in time.
Ever since the SVC Battle of Hastings Commemoration and My Declaration about 3½ years ago, the world has witnessed the power of My Decisions concerning why I am here and how the Creator has led me to bring the world to a Peaceful Conclusion. For the first time in Human History, International Law will be enforced by force, if necessary. No exceptions!
If we at SVC bear any responsibility for the Al Qaeda Hezbollah Invasion Scandal (AQHIS), it is we didn't move fast enough to put it down and remove any resistance to the Creator’s Grand Design! We hoped that common sense and human decency would prevail. We have learned to our chagrin that most of the traitors/terrorists have no capacity to distinguish between right from wrong; are seriously mentally ill; and are amoral to the core.
Indeed, if it has been that those in authority have serious dropped the ball and/or are part of the organized terror conspiracy and that's the reason the AQHIS has continued unabated, then we will now assume that authority. We have the International Judgments; own the U.S. Government and all its security and military hardware; and have the thorough backing of the International Community.
What is most important here is that we keep normal citizens safe and remove these people from civilized society. We have seriously miscalculated how deeply the terrorists have invaded and taken over American government institutions and have utterly cowed the last three Presidents on down. As U.S. President George H.W. Bush stated about Iraq's invasion of Kuwait in 1990, "This will not stand!"
I joined the U.S. Navy believing I would eventually be drafted. If I joined voluntarily I at least could set my course as I wanted. I always wanted to learn to fly. U.S. President Jimmy Carter called for the reinstatement of the draft after the hostages were taken in Iran in 1979. How eerie it is to hear Donald Trump discussing reinstating the draft because of our latest difficulties with Iran.
As I have written in all my books, the foreign policy debacles of Iran and Vietnam are some of the worst in American History. In neither case did the United States live up to its Democratic Principles. The CIA removed the popularly elected Iranian Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh who had communist sympathies in 1953 and reinstated the Shah's son. The new Shah turned out to be an horrible despot. In 1979, the revolutionary Iranian Theocracy began and overthrew the Shah. The Iranians actually have a case against the United States.
So does Vietnam. In 1956, the first Democratic Elections were to be held. When Eisenhower Administration ascertained that Ho Chi Min, a communist, would win the election by a landslide, the election was canceled, never to occur. That set up the eventual escalation during the Johnson Administration where 58,000+ Americans were lost needlessly and America lost its only war. It is probably by no mistake that it is Vietnam which is most closely monitoring the AQHIS, according to SVC's Public Website. They hope their old adversary will catch it in the butt, deservedly so.
Eventually, John Kennedy's opposition to America having a role in Vietnam and overthrowing Fidel Castro and not invading Cuba during the Missile Crisis led to the conspiracy against him by The Pentagon, the communists and well-heeled business interests in the United States that cost him his life.
Ditto for me with AQHIS, except it is not the communists but the terrorists who oppose me and what I attempting to accomplish. The intersection of history meets with Iran. The terrorist group Hezbollah had its genesis in the student takeover of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran in November 1979. In 1980, Hezbollah would begin the successful terrorist invasion into the United States.
In the late twentieth century, Osama bin Laden lost patience with Hezbollah, assumed the Palestinian title of Supreme Leader of Islamic Jihad and inserted al Qaeda into the mix. In August 1998, al Qaeda began its attacks against the United States by bombing the U.S. Embassies in Nairobi, Kenya, and Dar Es Salaam in Tanzania. Some 37 months later, 9/11 constituted the first successful mainland attack on the United States by a foreign enemy in almost exactly 187 years.
President Kennedy and I had no idea our own government he once headed and our fellow Americans would side with the communists and terrorists the way they have and take his life and destroy mine within the United States, but they have. The reasons for President Kennedy's assassination and why I have suffered a living hell the past 24 years are still unexplained. But you better believe we are going to get to the bottom of it!
It’s curious how I am being asked to "just let it go" and the traitors/terrorists are not being asked to come forward and admit their wrongdoing, accept the fact there lives must be ruined, their reputations must be ruined as bear minimum punishment for what they have done. The International Community did offer forgiveness of all the "Community punishments" if the traitors/ terrorists mea culpa last year, but nary a word! Blame the traitors/terrorists for all that is about to transpire. They are reason all this has happened and why the possibility exists that entire American Community must suffer for failing to demand the summary end to the AQHIS!
It is catastrophic that I cannot expect to have the same protection under the law in the United States that everyone else has. That’s what it comes down to, you know? You would be at least as outraged as I am if this happened to you. My fellow 11,000 Victims and I have the right to simple Justice, so why does Justice keep being denied us?!
I know dealing with their Spiritual Self is so very difficult for the vast, vast, vast majority of people because you have to deal with who you really are and our Creator. In the Spiritual realm there can be no secrets, no proverbial skeletons in the closet. There is only you exposed for who you really are.
The Creator knows who you are and what you have done. Your record is a known quantity. The Creator has a Special Mission - a Divine Destiny - for each and every one of us and more than anything the Creator would like you to become what you are created for, but 97% or 98% of us fail to be so.
As time has passed in dealing with the AQHIS, I have had to take stock of my own Spiritual Life in light of what my special calling is. Having quite literally millions of People persecute me because of that calling has been very difficult for me – it would be for anyone - but on the other hand I have had the Creator always reminding me what the end is.
A long time ago now, I found this gem in the Gospels from Jesus, “Go tell that fox (Herod Antipas), ‘I will keep on driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal.’ (Luke 13:32)
The passage from Luke 13 teaches us what our disposition must be in serving our Creator in fulfilling our Divine Destiny. If nothing else Jesus had a major advantage over the rest of us. He knew who he is and what his Divine Destiny is from the get-go.
Jesus was actually rebuking his supporters when they suggested that he run and hide from Herod. That would be a natural response for almost all of us, but not Jesus. Fortunately for me, I have been blessed with the same instincts. I rather serve the Creator and others than to try to save myself for selfish gain.
Obviously, Jesus and I have something in common. The powers-that-be are incredibly invested in the idea that we are the wrongdoers when they are so obviously the perpetrators. Just read the Gospels and the Annals of the AQHIS you will observe this theme again and again. Jesus is perfect; I haven't even done so much as a speeding ticket. Yet, who was crucified and who has had seven serious assassination attempts against him and spent six weeks in jail?
If you research and study history of all those who have had a particularly Special Divine Destiny, you will discover they took a stand and did not run because they knew they were right. It does not take much courage to do what is right because if you are doing what is right, guess who supports you? Indeed, the Creator probably put them up to it just as he has with me. In fact, a bit later in Luke 17:32 & 33, Jesus talks about his Second Coming. He warns, “Whoever tries to keep their Lives will lose it, and whoever loses their Life will preserve it. I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding together; one will be taken and other the left.” The Creator will separate the sheep from the goats and those who are taken will flourish in Jesus' Kingdom; those who are left will be cast out.
Nelson Mandela knew quite a bit of persecution himself and never responded in kind. Perhaps, the most valuable lesson Nelson taught me is that none of us are completely good or completely evil. We are all some of both. The key question is: are you a liberator or are you an oppressor? What is your focus in dealing with others?
We both believe that will be the criterion the Creator will utilize in determining who are the proverbial sheep and who are the goats. There is no question that the goats are those who supported the Apartheid Government and did not accede to its elimination and the traitors/terrorists of the AQHIS who insist on justifying their action when there can be no defense. They knew/know nothing of the liberator's role in the Creator's Grand Design.
Wayne Dyer put it in the best way I have ever heard: “How people treat you is their karma; how you react is yours...You can either be a host to God or a hostage to your ego. It’s your call.” Especially for men, egotism is a real problem. Wayne's words echo in my mind every time I get unduly agitated and want to strike back. I always will be a host to God!
Almost 41 months ago today, I delivered the HASTINGS TRAILBLAZER DAY DECLARATION. In it, I outlined what my Divine Destiny is and what it entails. Ultimately, 97% of the human race simply possess a fear of belonging to their dreams. Owning your dreams as yours is so important, but our thinking is so negative most of the time. It is my belief that we all have the responsibility to make something of ourselves and living to accomplish our Divine Destiny.
Those dreams that are laid on our hearts by the Creator have been placed there for a reason. Do not ignore them. Don't let Satan tell you are not good enough or couldn't possibly do that. Do not allow others to be the evil one's surrogates through their jealousy and hostility and keep you from accomplishing your divinely given Dreams.
One of the reasons why I have been such a target of the traitors/terrorists is because I represent the Creator and I am persona non grata to them. Osama bin Laden was one of the evilest men of our times. He was repulsed by me not only because he sensed who I am, but how I became an annoying reminder of who he had become and represent.
When the Creator kept planting me directly in bin Laden's way again and again, Osama called me his only "Worthy Adversary." It has always been a wonderful reminder for me of who is in charge.
It has been curious to me how people get off on a tangent in their thinking and ultimately destroy their lives and become infamous. The Sanhedrin saw Jesus the same way that bin Laden saw me and the traitors/terrorists now view me. "Sutton must die" were the exact words Royce Engstrom expressed when he began to plot my assassination by Kurt Trowbridge. The reason no one had stood up for me is the same reason no one stood up for Jesus on Good Friday. They feared the wrath of the powers that be and they were/are under the influence of Satan. The Jews were exiled from the Holy Land for nearly 19 centuries for demanding the crucifixion of their Messiah. Americans are about to discover what their penalty is for not standing up against bin Laden and organized terrorism like I have done.
At the open, I put an emphasis on focusing on our Family. What that means is our business but it includes a no-nonsense attitude about having the ability to spend more time together and making that possible both logistically and financially. We will observe the basic concept of punishment for the traitors/terrorists as set down by the International Tribunals.
What we have lacked in the past including peace of mind will be procured directly from the traitors’/terrorists’ assets and/or the public assets that have been encumbered by the International Judgments as a result of the traitors/terrorists crimes and acts betraying the Public Trust. We will work to make sure what they have done can never happen again. The traitors/terrorists must be treated henceforth as I and my fellow Victims have been!
The SVC International Board of Governors has unanimously Resolved to put the AQHIS down without delay! The Power of Decision manifests itself through the universal enforcement of International Law; universal development the Economic & Political Democracy; expansion of Living Security everywhere save the United States until all the United Nations mandated reforms are implemented completely; and the development of the 21st Century Marshall Plan is implemented to eliminate material need and greed from the Earth. The Peaceful conclusion of Human History is now a certainty!
The timeline has been based on a Decision Tree Process. For instance, if the Social Security Administration allows all Americans to correct the records concerning their contributions to the program regardless of the timeline, then the International Judgment will not be executed, and Social Security will be allowed to die a natural death.
It simply does not make sense that if a 30-year-old American is unaware that there has been an error made in his or her contribution record that he or she only has 15 months to correct the record. At that age, every American believes and trusts that their contributions have been accurately recorded. To discover that there are errors made when they turn retirement age and they cannot correct them is just an outrage!
The litmus test will be when I turn 66 years, 10 months in late June. My first Social Security payment at full retirement is due July 22nd. If I receive it and it's anywhere close to the proper amount and the same right to correct their records is given to all Americans regardless of time period, then Social Security is saved. If not, play taps for it! We are not messing with it anymore!
The same process will be used in every case. If the traitors/terrorists begin to mea culpa and fly right, then the “community punishments” will be waived and only they will be subject to condign punishment. If they continue to act out and attempt to save their sorry hides, then part of their punishment will be watching innocent people suffer because they chose to do what they did.
I have listened to my heart and mind while doing my level best to do what the Creator desires. I have spent my life running against a strong tail wind and as an Aviator have learned to make my peace with it. I have no fear of belonging to my Divinely Given Dreams. Especially now because the Power of Decision has been invoked by well over a billion SVC Allied Advocates worldwide! It’s tournament time at SVC!
